May Update

Patch Notes for May

May 2025 Update Log

1. KoE Version 6 Added A new version of KoE (v6) has been implemented. We’ll need to discuss with guild leaders before testing it, as I’m not fully confident it's bug-free. Potential candidate for future GvG events.

2. New Challenge Mode Instance A new challenge mode is now available at @warp prontera 117 167. It’s similar to the MVP Speed Run. Currently, mobs drop no loot and there are no prizes—please help test it and report any bugs!

3. Removed Full Buff NPC The full buff NPC used on the test server was accidentally discovered by players in Prontera and @go 24. It has now been removed.

4. New Star Wars-Themed Mobs Added new custom mobs: Kylo Ren and Storm Troopers. You may need to press Shift to attack them.

5. Star Wars May Promo Items & Quest New Star Wars-themed costumes and items are available as part of the May 2025 promotion. Start the quest at @warp moc_para01 49 185.

6. Kylo Ren & Storm Trooper Invasion These mobs now spawn every ~30 minutes at @warp prt_fild08. They drop Light Saber Handle, an item required for the new costume quest at moc_para01 49 185.

7. Mini-Games Updated with Light Saber Handle Prize The following mini-games now reward Light Saber Handle:

  • Red Light / Green Light

  • Clucker

1. PvP Event Preparation Added a gate system and a new GM command (@battle) for pvpevt1 map. This is groundwork for future Party vs Party events.

2. New Maps Added

1. New Costumes & Items for April Events and Promotions

   • Introduced Easter Event Coin

   • Skull Coins removed from the Daily attendance

   • Added several cool new costumes that will be added to the Zeny Gashapon as a way to burn the zeny in the server. (Costumes not added tothe Zeny Gashapon yet!)

   Skill Animation Changes

   • Professor Bolt Combo animation delay is now enabled to prevent third-party program bypasses.

   • Soul Linker skills Esma, Estun, Kaite, and Kaupe now have animation delays enabled to prevent third-party delay bypasses.

3. Illegal/Unintended Item Cleanup Removed legacy items that were appearing as "Apple" but still functioned that woul appear in the Old Purple Box. These items have been completely removed from the server:

4. New Features & Events

   • Endless Cellar added! Enter the same way as Endless Tower—check the NPC Cellar Protection Stone of the map. At the same location as the NPC Tower Protection Stone. Go talk to Captain Janssen on @warp alberta,214,77. Cost of Endless Cellar is 1B in Zeny and the cooldown period is 7 days.

   • WoE Kill/Death Tracker NPC added near the Crack the Password NPC in Prontera.

   • New NPCs added to Comodo and @go 28 by player request.

   • Break the Emperium Instance added! Test how fast you can break the Emperium. Might become a timed event with prizes in the future. Located on @warp prontera,130,159

   • MVP Speed Run Instance added! Defeat 10 random MVPs with no loot drops. Fastest party or solo player may receive a reward. Limited to 2 runs per day per Geapard ID. Located on @warp prontera,164,171. Fastest party receives 50 Easter coins, otherwise randomly receive 50 RBs or 1 skull coin.

   • Clucker Event added to bring more variety. Random rewards include Uber Coins or U Accessory Box. GM Activation required and you can join by warping to @warp prontera,153,163. Test your luck and click on the chicken until the lucky get the prize

   • Bomb Poring Event added for GMs to activate. Rewards include Gasha Coins and offers more GM-player interaction. GM Activation required...GM Commands to active the events is @startbombring or @stopbombring. Players can join using the command @joinbombring

   • Kitty Girl NPC added outside WoE castles. Charges 65M zeny to heal and grant 3 minutes of Full Protection + 1 minute of Agi/Bless, as a zeny sink for the economy. Locations of the Healr and buffer NPC: sch_gld,149,101 prt_gld,227,124 aru_gld,95,38 prt_gld,130,56

12) New Command for Costume Visibility:

• Players experiencing lag due to costume animations can now use the following commands:

  • @equipoff all — Hides all costumes.

  • @equipoff <player name> — Hides costumes for a specific player.

  • @equipon — Restores costume visibility.

13) March Promotion is Live!

• The promotion period is active and end date TBD.

Patch Notes for February

1. ChaseWalk Adjustments

• Adjusted the skill’s delay and cooldown.

2. Champion Snap & Relocate

• Updated the delay for Champion-class Snap and Relocate skills.

3. Race to Level 99

• Corrected the “Race to Level 99” script to work as intended.

4. New Streamer Costumes

• Introduced fresh costume sets for upcoming streamer recruitmenf.

5. Guild Pack & Storage

• Modified guild pack items to be storable in guild storage.

6. PvP Fixes & Restrictions

• Fixed the “go pvp” NPC and restricted Baby jobs from entering the PvP zone.

7. Headgear Stats Quest

• Adjusted the quest that grants headgear random stats for the upcoming sets.

8. Unique Weapon Stats

• Fixed an issue preventing unique weapon stats from applying properly.

9. Asura Strike Cap Update

11. Lunar New Year Quest

• Brought back a special quest requiring 200 Gold Coins to earn a unique costume. Rewards : Item ID 31236

12. Seasonal Costume Quest

• Added a seasonal quest at @warp moc_para01,49,185. Current reward: a Valentine’s balloon. The npc will have different costume every months.

13. Seasonal Nickname Quest

• Reactivated the nickname quest at @warp prontera,168,229 The npc will have different nickname quest every months.

14. Loot Boxes with Expiration

-Bringing back the Uber Loot Box and other variants(elite, godly and etc) that expire.

• Currently, only the Uber Loot Box is in the Daily Rewards.

15. Daily Rewards Update

• Enhanced Daily Rewards with better items.

16. Short-Term Stat Foods

• Added new consumables that temporarily boost stats for a few seconds for possible quests. They have an expiration date.

17. New Event Maps

• Added maps for future events: dragon_cas, dragon_cas1, dragon_cas2, dragon_cas3, squid_evt, 1@ge_st, pvpevt1, pvpevt2, pvpevt3, and bombring_ev.

18. Upcoming “Squid Game” Event

• A new “Red Light/Green Light” style event is on the horizon—stay tuned!

19. New Monsters & NPCs

• Added monster IDs 20088–20094 and relevant NPCs.

20. DDS and Infinity Set Quest

• Fixed and updated both the DDS quest requirement that will be located in @warp yuno,210, 273 and Infinity set in @warp yuno,206,264

21. Skull Coin & MVP Spawn

Introduced the Skull Coin, dropped only by an MVP (ID 20088) on certain Yuno fields. 3 of these MVP spawns every hour and can be obtained via the daily rewards system.

Patch notes for January 2025

1. New GM Reward NPC

   • Added an NPC to help distribute rewards that the Head GM cannot trade directly.

2. Race to Level 99 Event

   • Scripts for a Race to Level 99 event have been added to prepare for upcoming activities.

3. #super-mighty-sages-enchantment NPC

   • Players with +10 Little Devil Horn, +10 Emperor Helm, or +10 Scarlet Helm can now enchant their weapons for one extra stat:

     • Stat Options:

       +10 Str

       +10 Agi

       +20 Vit

       +10 Int

       +10 Dex

       +20 Luk

     • Cost: Enchant or reset for 500M Zeny.

     • Unlocking: Complete a quest from the Super Mighty Disciple.

     • Disciple Location: @warp louyang162 176

     • Sage Location*: @warp louyang154 175

1. Automated Battlegrounds

   • Enabled 3v3 and 5-man FFA modes.

   • These modes activate and deactivate automatically at specific times to prevent bot farming.

2. Secondary #macro-check-system

   • Added a new macro check system that can be enabled for specific mobs and maps.

   • GMs now have a command to manually trigger macro checks for players reported for suspected AFK farming.

3. WoE Rewards Box

   • Added a "WoE Rewards Box" for guilds that conquer castles during WoE.

   • Contents: Random items such as RBS (10–100), Ygg Seed Box, Slim Potions, Mithril Coin, Platinum Coin, and a 1% chance for a Mystical Card Album.

   • Note: This does not replace castle loots and only applies to the conquering guild.

4. PvP/Go 15 Improvements

   • Added a 45-second Auto FP debuff upon entry.

   • Spawn points are now randomized (5-15 cells from original point).

   • Removed warp to the castle in Go 15 to improve gameplay and prevent camping.

5. Halloween Event Update

   • The Halloween Event is officially over, but you can still exchange Halloween Candies PvP/Go 15 Improvements with the Spooky Merchant for rewards.

   • Location: @shop or @warp xmas_in,163,111.

6. #mythic-angel-wings Quest

   • Added quests for [C] #mythic-angel-wings in the Quest Room (2nd floor of @newb).

   • Wings Available: Green, Orange, Pink, Purple, Grey, and Red.(See Below)

   • Requirements:

     • - 1x Mythic Angel Wings (ID: 19632)

       - 1000x Feather (ID: 949)

       - 20x corresponding Dyestuff

       - 2x each of Omega, Alpha, and Arch Angel Wings

       - 300x Rookie Badge

       - 2x Mithril Coin

1. New #guid-pack

   • Introduced an improved player-bound guild pack to support new guild members.

   • This pack is non-tradable and exclusive.

2. Paladin Skill Fix

   • Modified the Devotion skills

   • Paladins no longer need to re-toggle Devotion for Defender to function properly.

3. MVP Spawn Adjustment

   • MVP spawns are no longer reset after a server restart or crash.

   • If an MVP was killed prior to the restart, only the tombstone will appear, and the MVP will respawn based on its original timer. Hopefully this works correctly.
